Carl Ray “Cee-Jaay” Johnson
Blaze Street Music/Blaze Street Productions is a Hawaii licensed business and LLC dba 10 Fingas of Groov Productions, owned and managed by Carl Ray “Cee-Jaay” Johnson, Jr. A retired member of the U.S Armed Forces having served 23 years active duty in the U.S. Navy. Born and raised in Winston-Salem, N.C. and living in Hawaii since August 1994. A member of a musical family and lover of music since he was a young kid, Cee-Jaay first began his DJ career while stationed in Hawaii from 1982-1984, making mixtapes and doing parties for his friends at the barracks. Cee-Jaay later transferred to the Maryland-DC area in 1985, and decided it was time to take his DJ hobby to the next level. The rest is history. Since 1985, he has been DJing both as a professional and hobby DJ, having performed at hundreds of parties and events from Maryland to Virginia to California and back to Hawaii. Since 2001, his resume includes various clubs and venues in Hawaii such as Pipeline Cafe, House of Hong, Hickam AB Enlisted Club, Hickam AB Officer Club, Schofield Nehalani Club, Pearl Harbor Enlisted Club, Rumours, and the Fleet Reserve Association. We’ve also served many wonderful customers all over Oahu for gigs such as keiki 1st birthday, wedding receptions, wedding anniversaries, high school graduations, family luaus, and other private functions. In 2015, Cee-Jaay expanded Blaze Street to include sound design (music production aka “making beats”), as well photography and videography for online media content design.
